Clarify the idea before you build

A useful business starts with a real need, a clear audience, and a practical next step.

1. Name the person you serve

Describe a specific kind of customer. What are they trying to accomplish, and what makes that difficult? Talk with potential customers before assuming you understand the problem.

2. Write a plain-language offer

Complete this sentence: “I help ___ achieve ___ through ___.” Replace abstract claims with a concrete result you can explain and deliver.

3. Test one small step

Choose a simple way to learn: a conversation, a sample, or a small paid pilot with clear expectations. Record what you learn before investing in a larger build.
